Our collaborative community programs and partnerships provide opportunities and experiences they often cannot find elsewhere.<\/h4>\n<p>Our campus provides a little something for everyone including retail sales, nursery stock management, gardening, landscape maintenance, equipment repairs, seed saving, plant sales, art classes and yoga workshops.<\/p>\n<h3>Our Mission<\/h3>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Cultivating, empowering and assisting disabled adults for sustainable living through education, training and job opportunities.<\/span><\/p>\n<h3>Our Story<\/h3>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">GROW HUB, (Growing Real Opportunities to Work\u2014Harvest of Urban Business), a 501c3 not-for-profit, was incorporated in 2016 to meet a critical need faced by both local students and adults of varying abilities who complete their schooling at age 22, and have limited options for meaningful employment.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">We evolved from the School Board of Alachua County\u2019s (SBAC) successful Farm to School to Work Hub, and seek to create new partnerships with:<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">complementary businesses looking to align their work with our mission to provide opportunities to employ an enthusiastic workforce<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">philanthropic organizations and individuals looking to make a real difference locally<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">social service agencies with similar missions (such as Vocational <\/span>Rehabilitation, the Center for Independent Living and Veterans Affairs)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">GROW HUB is located past the Horizon Center and Farm to School campus, 2900 NE 8th Avenue, convenient to the University of Florida, downtown Gainesville and Waldo Road.
