Nursery Supervisor, Horticultural Therapist (HTR), Program Director

I’m a registered Horticultural Therapist (HTR) with a background in psychology from the University of Florida and am currently completing a Master’s in Social Work through the University of Central Florida. I currently manage our vocational programming, staff development, and community partnerships (as well as any other things that need doing at the nursery). I started as an intern in Horticulture Therapy at GROW HUB in 2021, and got my professional registration with the American Horticultural Therapy Association (AHTA) in 2022. I was hired as a nursery supervisor before growing into my current program development role. Before GROW HUB, I worked with memory care residents and in skilled nursing doing therapeutic gardening, as well as in behavioral healthcare for children with developmental disabilities, primarily Autism Spectrum Disorder. I live in Melrose, with my husband who is a beekeeper, and love to spend my spare time crafting, walking trails with our dog, or paddling on Lake Santa Fe.
